Hybrid Visiting BCBA

The Global Center for Autism Services (GCAS) has openings for a full-time, salaried Hybrid Visiting BCBA, comprising of 75% remote work, 25% in-person (1 week per month paid by GCAS) at our Lanham, MD location.

A Master’s degree or higher is required, currently certified as BCBA, experience and/or willingness to work with individuals with ASD ages earliest diagnosis through twelve years. Experience working remotely delivering real-time staff supervision and parent training in a virtual platform is preferred, but not required. Experience in conducting assessments including parent interviews and direct assessment with individuals as part of functional behavior assessment (FBA), VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland through remote delivery preferred, but not required.
This full-time, salaried and benefitted position provides supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians, as well as oversee direct instruction of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder of varying ability levels; this includes parent training, one-on-one instruction and small group social skills training for young children with ASD, delivered in a virtual platform in real-time, with some in person intervention.

The successful candidate will fulfill the following responsibilities remotely and in-person:

  • 75% of work will be completed remotely, 25% in-person (5 days on-site per month, all travel expenses paid by Company)
  • Supervise staff providing center-based ABA therapy to children ages 0-12 with autism
  • Collect, graph, and analyze data
  • Provide 1:1 supervision of RBTs implementing ABA therapy to patients
  • Conduct training with families and other caregivers

Requirements for the applicant, in addition to the ability to perform the above-listed responsibilities, include:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • BCBA state licensed in Maryland, or credentials to obtain license
  • Excellent ability to effectively build strong rapport with children with ASD
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, maintaining appropriate deadlines and individual program/patient requirements
  • Access to reliable, high-speed internet services
  • Ability to be innovative in developing programs and for with ASD
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and work with parents
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
